You must hold a subclass 457 visa or subclass 482 Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa.
Current Work Visa

Work Experience
You must have worked full-time for your nominating employer in regional Australia for at least 2 years while holding a subclass 457 or TSS visa.
Nomination Approval
Your Australian employer must have nominated you, with the nomination being approved within the 6 months prior to your visa application.

To travel after the initial five-year period, you’ll need a Resident Return Visa (RRV) to re-enter Australia as a permanent resident.
Costs
Visa Application Fee: The base fee for the main applicant is AUD4,770. Additional fees apply for family members included in your application.
Second Instalment: Family members aged 18 or older with less than Functional English may need to pay an extra fee of AUD4,890.
Additional Costs: You may incur other costs, such as health checks, police certificates, and biometrics.
Important Considerations
Work Obligation: You must work for your nominating employer in regional Australia for at least 2 years. Failing to do so may result in visa cancellation.
Travel Facility: After the initial five-year period, you’ll need an RRV to travel as a permanent resident.
No Visa Label: Your visa is electronically linked to your passport, so no physical label is issued.
